Rain and Earth

Poet- Tejesh Sahu.

Earth asked to rain one day,
'Why you fall every year to me,
And why you hides the sun ray?'
You have to reply to me!
Then rain replied to Earth's crust,
I every year fall to you,
To quench your thirst,
And every year I energize you.
I bring you greenery,
I bring you happiness,
What is the beautiful scenery,
And I keep humans free of stress.
I am only responsible,
For these green grasses,
Earth ! please tell me truth,
Don't you like the happiness around you.
Then Earth replied to the rain,
First, Thank you for quenching my thirst,
I want to communicate with anyone
And after talking with you I understood
Happiest and best season is 'rainy season'.
