In the remote and dense forest area of Rajnandgaon District of Chhattisgarh, Mr. Dhanesh Ram Sinha, who is constantly awakening the spirit of education amid scarcity and adverse circumstances, has become a source of inspiration for students and teachers in the present time. At present Shri Dhanesh Ram Sinha is posted as the Principal of SWAMI ATMANAND GOVT. ENGLISH MEDIUM SCHOOL OF EXCELLENCE Block-Chhuria, District- Rajnandgaon, Chhattisgarh.
Shri Sinha ji realized that there is no dearth of talent among the students of rural and remote areas of Chhattisgarh but, due to the lack of sufficient knowledge of the English language and other subjects and relatively weak educational background, students are not able to do better in competitive examinations in comparison to the students of other states and lagging in the competitive examinations. He wants the students here to be a part of the mainstream of the nation. They should bring laurels to the state and the nation by creating new dimensions of success in the national competitive examinations. Keeping these facts in mind, he organized around 500 workshops, seminars, conferences, personality development classes, and get-togethers related to English Language Teaching, skill development programs, and motivational classes in various educational institutions at the district and state level in the last 24 years. In these programs, discussions take place on grammar, vocabulary, patterns, structures, principles and methods, techniques, approaches, phonetics, handwriting, pebble works, problems related to teaching innovation, motivational classes, skills development classes, vocational classes, etc. With these issues and problems, the remedies to the problems are also discussed in these events. Along with the students of his school, students from other schools are also given a chance in active participation. Keeping in view the needs of the students, he has also added areas like Career Guidance, Examination Tips, Personality Development, Motivational Speech, Time Management, Anger Management, Natural Disaster Management, etc. to his programs. For this, he invites subject experts at his own expense. He has changed his home to a workshop hall. He has also developed a free library at his residence to help his students and teachers.
He has also decided and determined himself to work in the dense forest area of Chhattisgarh. He has been working in this wide area for the last seven years for the educational upliftment of tribal students. Many workshops, guest lectures, seminars, get-togethers, educational tours, developing online classes, and teacher training programs are taking place here regularly. He has been working here chasing a high goal in the field of education. Till now he has worked in Antagarh, Narayanpur, Kondagaon, Bastar, Balod, Manpur, and A. Chowky to go ahead in his campaign. He aims to motivate the students of tribal belts towards the mainstream of the nation.
However, due to his ceaseless efforts, more than 5,000 teachers and more than 50,000 students in the state have benefitted and the efforts are still going on. In due course of time, the masses have started working for themselves, for the state, and for the country in a spontaneous, self-motivated manner. The efforts and work started by Shri Sinha ji have now taken the form of a campaign in which thousands of teachers and students are getting benefitted from joining. His students have been presenting research papers, projects, posters, and skits on different educational issues in national and international seminars and conferences. At present, providing quality in the field of education is a nationwide challenge. Accepting all these challenges, he has been presenting his views on ELT and other burning issues in different states of the country to provide a direction to these problems. So far, he has attended and presented his research papers in more than 250 state-level, national, and international workshops, seminars, and conferences. His thought-provoking ideas have been published in many newspapers, magazines, and journals across the country and abroad so far. Including his efforts so far, he has spent more than 10 lakh rupees on this challenging task. For the betterment of the students and to encourage them for research work he has donated his body to the medical college after his death.
